Next Generation of FMA Leaders

Image of our youngest WA Junior Black Belt, Ivana, assisting one our young 10th Kup students with her uniform before the commencement of the White Belt Exam 11/09/2022. In our traditional school, with rank (no matter what age) comes responsibility and duty; so our next generation of First Martial Arts (WA) leaders are formed over the decades.

Focused Mind

First Martial Arts students not only train their physical bodies, but strengthening of our mental character is also achieved over time.

A determined and focused mind is the strongest of all the tools within our self defence arsenal, and as students train, mature and improve in their abilities – the mind becomes sharper.

To have a strong spirit is an important aspect of First Martial Arts training, and is not only necessary on the journey towards Black Belt, but it is also an essential life skill.

Pad Striking Drills

Punching drills at our Morley Dojang recently. Pad work is an important element of our First Martial Arts Do training as it improves our timing, accuracy, distancing awareness, speed, endurance and technique.

In addition to these, pad work also improves the ability to deliver techniques from various angles and develop combinations.
